Our Story
Built from passion.
Made with family.
Around The Corner Cantina began with owner Tony Spina’s lifelong passion for cooking and the idea of creating something meaningful he could share with the Sault Ste. Marie community.
“Food has been something I’ve loved for as long as I can remember, and it’s where I feel most at home.”
Family was the other big inspiration. Tony wanted to build a legacy his children could be proud of and one day be part of. Today, Tony and his wife, Susie Nielson Spina, operate ATC with help from their three children, Ciara, Sydney and Mia. It truly is a family labour of love.
The most rewarding part has been working together every day—watching the restaurant grow, seeing guests enjoy the food and turning all that hard work into something the whole family can be proud of.
